Essentials for Perfect Spring Capsule Wardrobe

Spring is in full swing, and if you want to look up to date for the current season without spending a lot of time or money to figure out what you need to keep cool, a capsule wardrobe is the best solution. While most capsule wardrobes consist of a limited number of non-seasonal items, I want to give mine a little touch and throw one or two important trends into the mix. I think this is the best way to stay excited about your wardrobe. Not only that, but you will look as relevant as ever if you combine these eye-catching trends with more classic styles. As I do every year, I wanted to share an updated spring capsule wardrobe that makes sense for 2022. You can find all the pieces at Nordstrom, my favorite destination for shopping for a mix of basics and trends.

Neutral Blazer

Every year, a neutral blazer appears again and again on my capsule wardrobe. This sophisticated room will take you comfortably from the office to dinner. You can even throw it over your pajamas to be ready to zoom up the waist. This model from the Nordstrom brand costs less than and is perfect for spring with its oversized cut.

Shirt With Buttons

Button-down shirts are trendier than ever and I’m here for that. I’m biased for blanks because they look incredible on (and under) everything – and can style in a million different ways. However, you can opt for a color to add a bold touch to your neutral looks.

Straight-Leg Jeans

When it comes to denim, I’m all about a straight-leg cut. Don’t get me wrong, I love the denim baggy trend. However, straight leg jeans are a safer bet if you need something that seamlessly transports you from one event to another. Nordstrom offers a variety of options at any price, but this pair of Topshop is my first choice. The coarse hem and the lighter wash are so easy for spring and summer.

Tops and ribbed dresses

Ribbed fabrics are another of my passion this season. Whether it’s a tank top, a tight-fitting T-shirt or a midi dress, they are so easy to put on and overlay if necessary. I love the ease of what you feel.

Dress with puffed sleeves

The dresses are practically made for spring, so I can not make a capsule wardrobe without mentioning some options. If I chose only one style, it would be a dress with puff sleeves. They are so feminine and make me feel like a million dollars every time I throw one. In addition, they are flattering to everyone!

Woven accessories

Straw bags and hats are an integral part of any look in hot weather and I can’t get enough of them recently. This Saint Laurent Rive Gauche Hook Bag is my last Investment Coin. It’s roomy, lightweight and easy to carry – basically everything I could ask for in a spring handbag.

Braided Sandals

Braided sandals have been in fashion for some time and for good reason. They add structural interest to an outfit, while they themselves look so chic. This pair of Vince Camuto heels is one of the best heels that money can buy. They look exquisite with denim, dresses and skirts – and give me great vibrations from Bottega.

The Laundry Separates

Flax is also back in force and of course I’m a fan! There is something inherently chic and effortless in everything that is made of linen. Nordstrom offers so many great styles that extend over matching shorts and sets. I have linked all my favorites below!
